Ninja - August 2006  Her owner died and the executor of the estate was going to have her put down. Here she is recovering from an abscess on her back. Surgery cost:  $294
Denver -Rescued from the street March 2008 by my business partner.  He was laying down on the side of the road and could not stand.  Cars were whizzing by; it was only a matter of time before his death.  He had no ID or micro chip.  FOUND posters were put up in the neighborhood along with ads on Internet and paper; no one came forward to claim him.  He had an extreme eye and ear infection, skin infection, tape worms and was malnourished.  IV's were administered for several days........Cost:  $869
November 2008.....found wandering on a back street in Sunland...this dog had a very infected cataract, a sac of feces hanging off of it, was not neutered and full of worms. Taken immediately to East Valley Vet in Sun Valley....No chip or ID.  Vet bill approximately $450

Fernando - Homeless dog living on street in Sun Valley for over two years!  Several people were feeding and caring for him on the street.  We finally trapped him and had him boarded,  neutered, chipped, fixed and wormed.  He has a wonderful home now with a loving family!

Shelly - another dog living on the streetin Sun Valley for 3 years.  Different people were caring for her.  We trapped, fixed and chipped her.

We also trapped one of her pups and adopted her to a home.  We had to fix her and chip her also.

Nefertiti and kittens rescued from an owner that had emotional problems...let her get pregnant and didn't want to deal with her or her kittens anymore. 

Spay costs, shots, wormer, food plus advertising to find homes for kittens and their shots and food.

July 2011 Bunny rescued from gross neglect.  Ears full of mites.  Two shots of Ivermectin plus vet visit    $180
July 2011 This second bunny that I rescued from the hoarder is an Angora Rabbit.  You can not tell, but It's hair was so matted  that it's skin was actually twisting up and there were maggots in it.  We had to have it shaved. The matter fur filled a large trash can bag..It was unbelieveable!   It took the vet 3 hours to shave this rabbit!!  We were charged $200. Look at the condition of this cage!!!  And this was AFTER we had cleaned the cage for TWO DAYS...
Rescued from the street in Sun Valley, CA 11/19/11...PREGNANT
No ID or micro chip.  Running on the street with another unneutered male chihuahua terrier mix. 

Luckily, I was able to immediately find this dog a home, but the foster ended up spending over $350 and I also helped with this fee.
